Aztecs
The Aztecs ruled the Mexican valley in the period of 1325 to 1521. The Aztecs were northern tribes, who migrated to the valley and occupied small towns in the shore of central lake. By the end of fifteenth century, central Mexico was controlled by the Aztecs as a military empire and tributes were collected from rivals. Penchant for sacrifice was the most distinctive feature followed by the Aztecs.
